Today’s featured kicks: Pastry Blueberry Icing Hitops
Guest star reviewer: Melissa P
Melissa’s Rundown
I give them out of 5 stars: 5 out of 5
What I like: The fresh blue and gold colors
What I don’t like: Are you kidding me? what’s not to like?..lol…. honestly this is the perfect sneaker
I’ve had these kicks since: Jan 23, 2008
Who bought them: I purchased these bad boys online at Underground Station
What people say when they see them on me: “I wore them the same day I got them, and no one said anything…but they didn’t have to, they were too busy staring at my feet, lol”
My rundown on these Pastry kicks: when i opened up the box i damn near passed out. they are wayyyy better looking in person. these shoes are just dazzling! these are one of their best. *note* the glitter part actually looks like snake skin and in the light they give off different specks of iridescent color, almost like a prism. these shoes need to be in a glass case. in the words of the late great Notorious B.I.G, “like a windface Rolex, they just shine” lol. got to love it!
Thanks Melissa!

What the… OK just bear with us and let’s look at the clues.
Angela and Vanessa Simmons have an in-store appearance in Phoenix, AZ .
They’ll be there on Thursday, Jan 31.
The Superbowl is that Sunday, also in Phoenix.
It’s the New England Patriots vs the NY Giants. NY is V&A’s home state.
Our PI (Pastry Investigator) predicts, based on the evidence… the Simmons girls are hitting up the Superbowl?!?

Will the rest of the Simmons clan be there: Russy Simmons, Diggy Simmons, Rev Run and Justine Simmons? Are Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons tagging along? What Pastry kicks and Pastry clothes will V&A be wearing?
Guess we’ll find out on Superbowl Sunday!
If you want to save some money you can use the following coupon codes for Dr. Jays and the Finish Line. You can save $10 for anything that you buy at Dr. Jays if you use the Coupon Code MQR5E. The coupon code expires on February 28th which means you have enough time to wait for the right opportunity to grab the Pastry Shoe that you like the most.
There are actually three coupon codes for the Finish Line, they are 140387 for 15% on any order over $60, 885421 for $10 on any order over $60 and 455478 for $15 on any order over $90. They reduced the Marshmallow Boots they have in store even further, you can grab them now of the shelf for $59.98 instead of $119.99 and even less if you use the coupon codes. Damn 2 cents, eh. Maybe you find something on there or buy another pair of Pastry Shoes to make the limit.
Man Alive now carries the Pastry Collection by Vanessa and Angela Simmons.
They only have one Pastry item right now, but it’s a good one….
We only know about one in-store appearance so far… those lucky fans in Phoenix will get a chance to meet Vanessa and Angela Simmons!
Damonica L., part of the Pastry Posse, says a store employee told her V&A would be doing an appearance at another Underground Station on Feb 7. Damonica, write back and tell us which store!
Jan 27 update: Damonica says it is the Underground Station store in Norfolk, Virginia at the Military Circle Mall. Can anyone confirm this?
Have you heard rumors of V&A’s other store appearances? Pastry fans, let’s do some Pastry detective work and fill in the blanks. If you’ve heard anything, post a comment on this article.
And YOO HOOO anyone out there at Run Athletics… HOLLA to Rasheed… how about showing your Pastry fans a little love and publishing the rest of V&A’s appearance dates, sometime soon?? People got to take off work, arrange rides, plan accordingly… sheesh I’m just sayin.
Was: $119.99. Now: $59.98
This is the steepest discount seen so far on the Pastry Marshmallow collection. They’re perfect to keep your feet toasty, the cut is generous enough to tuck your pants in, and the ankle chain can be removed and worn as a bracelet!
If you add anything else to your order, you can use the Finish Line coupons we posted about earlier today, for even more savings.
Pastry Props to Jackie L. for the tip!
