Kimora Lee Simmons to launch new apparel line “Fabulosity”

DALLAS — J.C. Penney Co. plans to launch an exclusive junior sportswear collection designed by Kimora Lee Simmons. Kimora is aunt to Vanessa and Angela Simmons, the creators of Pastry.

The line, called Fabulosity, is to hit stores in July for back-to-school.

Fabulosity will retail from $29 to $108 and take inspiration from Simmons’ own lifestyle as a former couture fashion model, hip-hop fashion designer, fragrance marketer and business and media executive as well as a high-wattage presence on the glam-party circuit.

“J.C. Penney Co. has a proven track record of delivering a wide array of must-have styles and brands to some of our most discriminating customers: teen girls,” said Ken Hicks, president and chief merchandising officer of J.C. Penney and the newest member of its board of directors.

Simmons launched a Baby Phat Fabulosity fragrance with Coty earlier this year. It is expected to hit about 2,000 U.S. department store doors in April.

wow she looks gorgeous in these pictures! I haven’t had the chance to check out her line yet, her perfume is fabulous though! And the new season is great! The drama is already heating up…she’s putting together a fashion show and things aren’t going as planned…man, i wouldn’t want to see kimora’s bad side, bc from what i’ve seen on tv…she’s scary when it doesn’t go her away!
