The pastry shoe contest really helps in building confidence in some young girls and that’s a good thing. In fairness to other girls who have never won, they should be given a fair chance instead of using the same models that have won previously. Also, a model who has the pastry clothing that matches the shoe being contested, already has an edge over the other girls. Pastry shoe and clothing should not be allowed as part of the judging criteria! Just a suggestion!

Yo! I am so blessed my daughter is out of the hospital after spending 2 nights/3 days there! It’s an honor to be chosen esp. considering I had to fit it in the ideas n’ photos through a difficult time. Ok Kamilah, you’re a cool kat but for a fact I’d like to let you know that the pastry mocha raspberry shoes were Borrowed (I Don’t own a pair) and a while back i bought the ‘pre-owned’=Used matching bag which I had to sew all four corners up myself. Besides, how can you act like you know what’s up in a sister’s closet? I don’t think it’s fair to judge me like that when there are other winning contestants who have a Pastry collection & won* ~Just remember, More than what you have it’s based on how you present and apply it creatively~ jen

thanks! to be honest i wasn't really putting much creativity into my outfits before the contest~ i just didn't have the energy or motivation. my co-worker actually encouraged me to join a contest where i could model or model something!

so i am truly blessed i won as the top 3rd because my husband couldn't affort a wedding anniversary gift and i'm also not asking anyone for a x-mas gift this year (not that anybody asked anyway) cause i understand the financial hardships : ) so that'll be my gift this holiday! : ) YEAY!!
