Nina Sky sisters following in Vanessa and Angela Simmons footsteps

In the picture are twin sisters Natalie and Nicole Albino of the group Nina Sky who have an upcoming album titled “The Musical” that features singles “On Some…” and “Curtain Call”, featuring Rick Ross.  They’ve also collaborated with some big producers in the music industry such as Salaam Remi, Ryan Leslie and DJ Toomp.

They just launched a shoe line for FILA, titled “Melrose”.  The twins who are known for their singing career have always been a pair of up and coming fashionistas who happen to collect hundreds of sneakers of their own. Here’s one of their designs.

Okay, let’s make this interesting.  Which one would you rock, the Fila Melrose Scarf above, for $89.99?

or the Pastry Mocha Raspberry Fab Cookie HiTops below for $69.99?

The Filas aren’t bad I have to say. They have a little punk gladiator style to them. But I’ll bet Vanessa and Angela Simmons aren’t worried a bit!

You're looking at both pairs in the store. Which do you take home?

I would definitely rock the Mocha Raspberry Hitops! They are so cute and those are my dream sneakers. I honestly do not like the sneaker made by the Nina Sky sisters, its just not me. What do y'all think?

I would rock the mocha raspberry hi-tops. them other shoes do not lok right. what were they thinking??Not Style or if they were buyable. Plus they are too exspensive. they look too thin like slippers. I also am not feeling the plaid looking part on the side. anyone else?

 Cutiefran123  12.10.2008 | 9:24 am

 Nillabee  12.11.2008 | 2:57 am

 Nillabee  12.14.2008 | 5:10 am

that's okay, it's just a delayed post! i still think it'll count! : )

 Nillabee  12.11.2008 | 3:00 am

i Love to sing to Nina Sky!!~ but the way to my <3 is sweetly appealin' to my mental taste buds~ Mocha Raz gives me that Tart Buzz!!!

 Nillabee  12.11.2008 | 3:02 am

Honestly I think 'Melrose' would have a better kick off if they used their OWN ORIGINAL Color Schemes!!

 xo_Pinkdiamonds  12.11.2008 | 10:22 am

I agree with you. A lot of people are trying to make their shoes similar to pastrys. They need to choose different schemes! No one wants a clone shoe…lol

 Nillabee  12.13.2008 | 11:00 am

: ) girl you got it!!

 Nillabee  12.11.2008 | 3:06 am

Hey TwilightLover96! Pastry will still make more bank with its originality, spunk n' spice!*

 TwilightLover96  12.15.2008 | 8:29 am

Yup true that!. And your right they do look like boxing shoes. Mocha Raspberry is like A Million times better! The ones in the picture that the sisters got on look a little cute and better but other wise…………………………………..

 Nillabee  12.11.2008 | 3:08 am

…the Melrose purple & plaid kicks did tempt me though~ I was like: "Why didn't Pastry make their own as they did with the Blueberry/Raspberry Plaid mix?!"

 whosdatgrl87  12.11.2008 | 6:26 am

i have the light brown ones. they are so comfy

 Nillabee  12.11.2008 | 7:28 am

Sweet! Those are the ones in 'Milk Chocolate' but I heard someone call them 'Peanut Butters' ~ lol

 RicRic  12.11.2008 | 9:44 am

 Dee-Dee  12.11.2008 | 10:26 am

Thought I posted oh well, I was saying that mah moma a die hard fila fan would rock the sky sistas shoes only becuz she is loyal to fila tho'

 Dee-Dee  12.11.2008 | 10:27 am

Another thing is why did they not do a shoe when they were really popular?

 Khandice  12.11.2008 | 10:38 am

i wuld roq dey shoes a lil bit but i wuld roq pastry 24/7/365!!!!!!

 marielle  12.11.2008 | 11:22 am

I think pastry shoes would win over any other shoes because there very stylish and unique.(V&A is defintely the winner when it comes to fabulous shoes).

 whosdatgrl87  12.11.2008 | 5:27 am

Not feeling the black and red. I'll stick to pastry's. The black ones are fresh though. I still haven't bought any sneakers yet. I do have the marshmellow boots!

 Nillabee  12.11.2008 | 6:03 am

Sup WhosDatgrl87! Which Marshmallow Boots pair do you have? : )
