After writing about the cast of Daddy’s Girls yesterday, I was curious about Alycia, who is also starring in the reality show with the Simmons sisters as their next door neighbor and an aspiring singer.
And by research I mean hanging out on her MySpace page and listening over and over to her music. The tracks are actually pretty good in my opinion.
Here’s my favorite Alycia tune, titled “Free Falling”.
And I found another song of hers on Youtube, this one is titled “Rollin”. I can definitely dance to this.
Alycia, whose full name is Alycia Bellamy, has been posting her music all over the net, and they’re not really hard to find.
According to her MySpace page, it’s said that she’s worked with many established artists, such as Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Ne-Yo, Sauce of Something 4 The People and T.U.G.
And she’s now working with Will-I-Am from Black Eyed Peas management. Those are some crazy ballers she’s playing with! I can’t wait for her album to drop.
But of course, I really can’t wait for her appearance with Vanessa and Angela Simmons in their new show, Daddy’s Girls, airing January 5th, 2009.

In my opinion, Alycia got somethin' goin' on. It might be a slow start since I haven't heard her on TV yet, but she'll be a hit in no time. I think her beat in Free Fall and I was dancin' to Rollin'. But I hope comes up with a famous, original hit!

I don't care who this girl has worked with and who shes knows. She is pretty but she cannot sing and she doesn't have any soul in her voice. Cassie has more soul in her voice than this girl and that's pretty sad. lol
It was recently reported and confirmed on BET media that Recording Artist and MTV reality television series Daddy's Girl[108] co-star and former cast member Alycia Bellamy has been in talks with The Haughton Family members to portray the late great singer and would star as Aaliyah in the upcoming biopic of the late singer's life entitled Aaliyah which is currently in film work and is slated to be released in 2012.
I can't wait for this movie to come out, I love Alycia and I knew about her since 2003 when she went on tour with B2K and she does look like Aaliyah and her swag and music style is definitely similar to Aaliyah's sound of music. Congratulations Alycia. I know you will do an awesome job for the Aaliyah movie.
