Ensemble Inspection: Vanessa has a thing for boots, just like me. I love how she tucks her dark skinny jeans into them. The giant diamond hoops, classy AND sassy. I’ll bet they’re real diamonds too no CZs for our Nessa lol. That little Chanel bag just tops the whole outfit off and I’m going crazy for that little bit of hot pink showing. She’s going for a classy but casual evening out look, and it all just works. Grade: A
On the other hand, I’m quite surprised seeing Jessica’s getup. She looks just like the Simmons sisters now, and I have mixed feelings about it. I think it’s probably not her personal style, but on the other hand, I think it looks good on her.

So yesterday I posted the newest pictures of Vanessa and Angela Simmons. Afterwards, brother Diggy Simmons (who happens to be a very active blogger) caught up with the girls at the Pastry office in NY and took some pictures of his own.

I am so excited to tell you that the film industry is loving Hip Hop as much as I’m loving my Pastry shoes nowadays. The screenwriter of the recently released “Notorious” movie, about the life of the late rapper Notorious BIG (aka Christopher Wallace), is said to be working on the story of the rap group that started it all: Run DMC!
Angela and Vanessa Simmons dad is of course Rev Run, one of the founding members of Run DMC. That’s him on the right. They look so young.
The upcoming movie will be adapted from Bill Adler’s “Tougher Than Leather: The Rise of Run DMC – The Authorized Biography”.
Dallas Jackson, president of DJ Classicz (a.k.a the company that would produce the movie) says,
“It’s an extraordinary rags-to-riches journey that I’m eager to bring to the screen. And I’m hoping to have Run, DMC and Russell Simmons’ involvement. This will be a big movie about the 1980s hip-hop movement that took over the world.”
This pops in the news right after Run DMC was tapped to be included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just a couple of weeks ago. When it rains it pours.
Now the big question is…
