Move over Kanye!
Vanessa and Angela Simmons are following the footsteps of their younger brother Diggy Simmons: our girls are now bloggers. Their uncle, Russell Simmons, is now the editor-in-chief of GlobalGrind.com and he tapped the girls to participate in the social news site. Uncle Russell launched The Global Grind Celebrity Blogger campaign as a way for users to keep in the know with their favorite personalities, and it will also give a platform for celebrities to voice their opinions on many issues, direct to the people.
The Simmons sisters are not just the ones in the Global Grind celebrity blogger lineup. In fact, it already includes LL Cool J, DJ WhooKid, Kevin Liles, Dr. Ben Chavis, BET personality, Tocarra, Nas, Nelly, Jim Jones, John Legend, Neyo, Nia Long, Gorilla Zoe, Power 105′s, Ed Lover and Free, Bow Wow, Akon, Mickey Factz, T-Pain and many others.
Angela has started posting articles on her Global Grind page, while Vanessa is still laying low. Here’s a recent excerpt from Angela’s blog:
So finally i am feeling 100 percent better. And i’m currently in hawaii with my family and friends filming Runs house. Ive only been here one day and yet i have so much to share. Its been a blast. We are on the island of Kauai’. This is my first time on this island it is so pretty and small. i will for sure be coming back here. it feels so good to finally have a little bit of QT time with the fam. But the fun part is our friends came too. The onli thing missing from my trip is my Boyfriend. its hard having a long distance relationship but well worth it in the end when it works out. He lives all the way in dallas so its not always the easiest. But i enjoy time spent with him. the hardest part is making time for eachother because we both work so hard and fly all the time all over the place but its that much sweeter when i see him.But anyway i was having a moment lol. i will be coming to you live from hawaii as much as i can with new post and different things we will be doing out here. theres so lil time and so much to do.

Just in time no matter the holiday to get your hands on a sprinkling of hearts in red, pink, and silver. A little girl is a precious gift to ever get. A shoe with love written all over it is a precious gift to ever get for the little girl. Cloud nine comfort for her feet is absolutely sweet.

The dazzling colors of pink and blue have found their home. The Cheetah Mini Hobo in Pink and Blue by Pastry feature some awesome animal prints, not just the fave Cheetah. Although I would be happy with that. We get Croc for the pink, Cheetah for the blue, and another exotic print faded in gray on a white background. There is even some chains on the front for a really wild look. Now check out the puffy hearts stating the obvious “Your Pastry”. lol. Those are removable so we can hang them from anything we want even our shoes.

Intrepid Pastry Superfan Luz was at the mall to check out the latest and greatest Pastry from Vanessa and Angela Simmons. She knows EVERY single Pastry shoe that’s been released, so when she saw THESE, she knew she had a little mystery on her hands.
This colorway has not been seen yet online. It’s in the Glam Pie style, introduced last year. Have you spotted this version in stores too like Luz?
What would you name them? I know what I’d call ‘em– after a certain type of BIRD, hint hint. I am loving the bright spring colors and the black panels.

Now I know I was not the only one waiting for this hot bag am I right? I just can’t get enough of the cheetah print. Especially when Vanessa and Angela Simmons make it look Pastry HOT!
I really love the colors purple and black, it makes the bag look very classy and roaringly sassy.
I can’t believe it’s only $40… that’s not too bad considering how big the bag is.

The Simmons Sisters, Vanessa and Angela left for a vacation vith their whole family and friends to Hawaii a few weeks ago. Angela had a video camera and she documented their fun trip. Daddy’s Girls cast members Jessica and Alycia were also there. How FUN would that be to take a planeload of all your best buds and favorite family members to HAWAII. Totally jealous.
Sometimes I wish their show Daddy’s Girls was less staged and more relaxed like this. Videos like this feel REAL and make me want to be there!
