Interview with Vanessa and Angela Simmons

Pastry entrepreneurs Vanessa and Angela Simmons stopped by 97.5 KVEG radio in Las Vegas before their Pastry Rock The Mall event last month. They talked about how hard it is to run their own business and contrary to what some people think, Pastry wasn’t just given to them on a silver platter.

It was in fact harder to convince their uncle, Russell Simmons, that they could be adults and manage the company because uncle Russ has known them since they were babies. They also talked about their aunt, Kimora Lee (is it still ok to put ‘Simmons’ here?), and how they’re crazy about cousins Ming and Aoki.
