Vanessa Simmons was apparently busy last weekend, April 11th 2009, as she attended the She Cares Celebrity Basketball Game at Pepperdine University, California. The She Cares Foundation is built to help out single mothers who are motivated to excel in life.  The goal of the organization is to help these single mothers who wants to pursue higher education to live a better life, but have been held back due to lack of education, financial restraints et cetera.

Looks like Nessa is enjoying her time doing good deeds.  And you know what, they say girls look their best when they’re genuinely happy.  I took a look at this picture and I say that Vanessa Simmons truly has a huge heart.

Our girl came with cousin Jessica, and they both looked major fab with their Pastry gears.

There’s one thing about doing good and looking good: it makes me want both.  I wanna do good, and I also want those super-delicious Pastry kicks the girls wore.  Can you tell what Pastry hitops worn by Jessica and Vanessa?  Are they out yet?
