Yup, maybe you missed this one but Angela’s boyfriend, Skillz, just released a new mixtape called “Recession Proof” on October 27th. The Grammy Award Winning Duo recently signed a label imprint deal with SRC/Universal Records and have been pretty busy working in the studio with Nelly, Hurricane Chris, Bun B and Pitbull.

There are totally cool tracks on their mixtape featuring Slim Thug, Bun B, Talib Kweli, Hurricane Chris, Slim formally of 112, Big Tuck, Krayzie Bone and lots of dope stars.

Play of Play-N-Skillz stated:

“We titled this mixtape “Recession Proof” because our goal is to motivate people to stay strong in this recession and not let the situation get the best of them.”

Seeing that Angela Simmons came from a family of good achievements, it’s no surprise that her boyfriend Oscar Salinas a.k.a. Skillz has also proven his skills in making good music. Play-N-Skillz have been recipients of an ASCAP Award and scored their second Grammy for producing Lil’ Wayne’s hit single “Got Money” featuring T-Pain.
