Vanessa and Angela Simmons Add “Pastry Pop Stars” Children’s Collection

Three years into their successful Pastry Shoes line, Vanessa and Angela Simmons are nowhere near stopping. After pleasing young ladies, with elegant Pastry Shoes high-heels edition in 2009, the Simmons sisters are aiming to answer the demands of the much younger Pastry fans.

According to WWD.com, the line will be called “Pastry Pop Stars” and it will “put the accent on sparkle” with the collection ranging from athletic shoes to sandals, for infants (sizes 4 to 10) and children (sizes 10 ½ to 3 and 3 ½ to 6). The shoes and sandals will come in shoe boxes that double as keepsake boxes and free gift-with-purchase stuff such as nail art and tattoos.

The Pastry Pop Stars collection will be available in stores in February, with prices that won’t burn the pockets, ranging from $25 up to $35 a pop. There will also be a solely dedicated website for Pastry Pop Stars, which will feature the collection’s own characters named Cashmere and Melody. If you’re more of a TV junkie, catch the TV commercial of Pastry Pop Stars which will be aired on Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel starting this February.
