Pastry designers Vanessa and Angela Simmons are all over the fashion scene in NY’s Bryant Park this week. They’re always in the front row, which is the most coveted and visible spot to be in a fashion show.
Now you know when you go to these kind of events you better BRING IT. Leave last year’s minis and shrugs at home and strut your stuff in your best duds.
V&A have been dueling all week with new fashion forward outfits.

Did you watch the MTV VMAs last night?
V&A did… live at the show of course!
Uncle Russell Simmons (brother of Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons, and the girls’ dad) also attended. Here he is in his trademark cap with the Pastry designers…

WOW this is a totally different look for both of them. Talk about taking it to the edge! Vanessa went for a rockstar look with the wild hair and leather dress. Angela brought out her fashion diva with the multi-color animal print and long pearls.
Theybf is already dissing their outfits, saying “While I applaud their uniqueness and originality, this ish could possibly hurt somebody’s eyes.”
My philosophy is, you’ll never get ahead if you don’t take a chance sometimes. Sometimes you lose, but when you do win it pays off big. What do you think? Did V&A’s gamble pay off?

Word is that Angela and TK actually broke up last month. Shortly after the news started circulating, Angela was spotted with Bow Wow in Miami at Vanessa’s birthday party… here’s what Bow Wow has to say about that!
Sounds like we may not have to go too long without new Run’s House episodes: there are rumors that a Run’s House 6th season is on the way. Let’s cross fingers it airs in the fall 2008 lineup!
