Angela wrote this about her New Year’s outfit, “This was what i wore for new years. I didn’t get a chance to share this with you guys as promised. I actually went through my closet and found this Jenny Packham dress that I hadn’t wore in 3 years. Sometimes its fun to go back and re wear something you only wore once. I rang the new year in perfect. I felt great in this dress. Hope you guys like it!”

Long gone are the days of wondering what your favorite celebrity is thinking about. Thanks to the internet, these days we can even know what they’re having for lunch or dinner if they post a twitpic or tweet about their whereabouts. The Simmons sisters have been avid users of Twitter, but seriously what do we really get from only 140 characters?
That’s why our girl, Angela Simmons, finally turned to Blogger and created her personal blog, or as she puts it: this is her ‘open diary’. She tweeted recently:

I love so hard when I love a man. Dear man whoever you are out there. Wherever you are I love you. For I’m your future wife, and I want to marry you. I want to fulfill what it is that you need from a wife. I’d never cheat on you, id never make you feel uncomfortable. Well at least id try my hardest.I know there’s no such thing as perfection but for you i want to be that.. I want to be that perfect wife. Hopefully one day ill fill those shoes.
We said the Simmons Sisters were on a tour with Ne-Yo to give back to the society this holiday season, and now that they have done their good deeds, here are some of the fun they shared with the unfortunate kids.

LESSON 1: Just because you’re given a golden chance, doesn’t mean you can just kick your feet up.
Angela: Nothing’s given to you, because once you get the opportunity, you still have to put in the work. We’re hands on [with the business]: We have meetings, take calls, choose what we like, what we don’t like. We pick colors and fabrics.
Vanessa: At the end of the day, men lie, women lie, but numbers don’t. Results have motivated me to keep going despite challenges or naysayers.LESSON 2: Working with a relative can have its challenges, but who better to work with than someone who knows your quirks and strengths?
Angela: It’s an advantage because it’s easier to be 100% real when it’s your sister. More than likely, she won’t get offended if I don’t like something. Disputes can happen, but you learn to let personal things go and move on.
Vanessa: Angela went to school for fashion and I studied business. We build each other up, and we try to come to reasonable compromises.
