Baby Phat VS Pastry: Who Wins?

So we all know Pastry and Baby Phat are kinda related because Pastry is owned by Vanessa and Angela Simmons, and Baby Phat is owned by their aunt, Kimora Lee Simmons.  But today we think they’re almost too closely related.  Take a look at this upcoming Baby Phat sneaker held by Baby Phat’s newest spokesperson, Kristina DeBarge.

Pastry Fan Met Up With The Simmons Sisters… And More!

Super mega props to Pastry fan Luz for sending her pictures to PastryShoesCollection.com. See, our girl Luz here went to NYC back on the lovely Saturday, September 12th, 2009 to see her idols Vanessa and Angela Simmons. The event is at Cardinal Haynes HS in Bronx, where Vanessa and Angela were hosting a talent show for teens. Get ready to get jealous because Luz didn’t only get to attend the event…

…she actually sat right behind the Simmons Sisters.

But she didn’t realize that, and kept on talking to a new friend about how much she loves Vanessa and Angela Simmons and came all the way from Pennsylvania just for the occasion. When Vanessa and Angela finally sat next to the new friend, Luz was all embarrassed to find out that she was actually talking to Vanessa and Angela’s friend! LOL.

Now, that’s not all. Luz finally got the courage to ask them to take pictures together.

Once they were outside, Luz asked the Simmons sisters again for a picture, and… there she was, wearing her Pastry Hitops!

Girl looked like she’s ready to be a Daddy’s Girls guest star! She looks fabulous.

Anyway, Luz told PastryShoesCollection.com that she noticed Angela’s nice, big and shiny ring and she wondered whether Ang was really engaged to her beau, Dallas-based producer, Skillz.  Here it is in case you missed it:

Luz didn’t think much about it, but guess what, she logged on our site a couple of days later and she read about PSC spotting the ring on Angela.  It pays off to be a fan of PastryShoesCollection.com. LOL!

Diggy Simmons Raps: “She Don’t Want a Man”

If you like Keri Hilson and Asher Roth’s track: “She Don’t Want a Man”, well you’re not the only one.  Diggy Simmons loves it too and he made a version of his own.  Check it out:

Diggy sounds pretty awesome!  Talent must flow real good in the Simmons family.  It started with Dad, Rev. Run Simmons, the pioneer of hip hop with his legendary group: Run DMC and on to Jojo Simmons who’s doing well with his group Team Blackout.  Angela Simmons attempted the singing track with her single “Center of Attention” but hasn’t been seen returning to the studio (don’t we all hope she will?) and now… another rapper from the Simmons family has emerged:  Diggy Simmons.

Will Russy Simmons follow suit?  We’ll just have to wait, won’t we?

Tell us, Pastryheads: I think Diggy’s version of “She Don’t Want a Man”…

a.  …is AWESOME!! I wish he’d do more songs!
b. …could use some improvement, he obviously got talent and I’ll be looking forward to his music.
c. …is ok, but it’s better that he pursue his artistic talent like fashion design.

Daddy’s Girls: All Camped Out!

The thing about Vanessa and Angela Simmons is that although they’re really busy, they always have some room for fun. On the third episode of their reality show, Daddy’s Girls, they had themselves some outdoor fun.  Too bad things weren’t as good for cousin Jessica as she was left home alone with the super bratty Danielle.  A lot of you might not like the girl so much, but if you have a little compassion, you’d see that Danielle isn’t all that bad.

Jess might be pissed that Danielle is throwing food for her dog, Oreo, on her bed.  That’s not a really nice thing to do… but maybe Danielle feels unwelcomed and that’s why she pulls an attitude.  Come on, look at her, has she even smiled once since she arrived?

Poor thing.  It’s good that she moved back to New York, where she can be happier.  Besides, don’t you think Angela is playing a little bit unfair this time?  Why bunk this girl in with Jess?  Maybe things would have been a little bit better if Angela at least shares her own room with Danielle, knowing Vanessa isn’t a big fan of the girl.  Any thoughts on this?

Let’s just talk about the camping trip, guys. What do you think about Angela’s outdoor swagger?

Loving the attire.  And as silly-looking Vanessa and Shawna were, you’d know they have style.  Don’t you just love Nessa’s shades?

More sillines:  remember the fishing dance they invented?

Although the fish a waste as Shawna burned it, they still manage to have fun. LOL!  Poor fish!

But the best thing about the whole camping out thing is sitting by the fire, talking about stuff and just really bonding with one another!

Until the mountain lion sounds, that is. LOL.

Oh, by the way, before finally deciding on joining the girls on their camping trip, Brian and Jessica checked out the space for the Pastry store.  That is some huge space!

Behind The Scenes At Diggy Simmons’ Photo Shoot

So, you probably know that being a Simmons kid is no picnic.  You might get to see them having all the fun in their reality show, “Run’s House”, but they have to be serious and motivated when doing their thing.  A photoshoot, as fun as that sounds, needs focus and concentration.  Diggy Simmons, like his older sisters, Vanessa and Angela Simmons, appears to have the same level of focus.  Some shots for the newest Run’s House season?
