Newsflash: Pastry Home Sweet Home Collection!

Angela Simmons might have spent a lot of time with buddy, Rob Kardashian, but don’t you think that the girl is all about play and no work. With her sister, Vanessa Simmons, Angela has also been hard at work. Both Vanessa and Angela were apparently working on the Pastry Home Sweet Home Collection, and they’re here now to show ‘em to you:

If you can’t play the video, we’re gonna tell you what they were talking about. See, Pastry Shoes has released their newest collection: Pastry Home Sweet Home. There are two colorways of each collection: Hot Pink and Black, both embellished with shiny sequins. Each colorway consists of two styles: comfortable and flexible flat shoes and super fly high heels. Check the soles on the high heels and you could see the Pastry logo, telling the world what you’re rocking. The flat ones are the ones you turn to when it’s time for a laid-back look. You don’t have to decide between the two styles, because to have a matching pair of flats and heels is a rare thing and if Pastry can make it possible, then why not?

And finally for the best thing we love about the upcoming shoes: Check the heels and just by rubbing your fingers on the sequins, you can change the colors of your shoes. Rub it back and it turns into silver and rub it forward, the original color (either pink or black) will come back. Amazing!

The first Pastry Shoes Video ever

If you ever wanted to know how it all began you might be interested in viewing this Youtube video that was taken directly from the first Photo shoot ever. You will hear Angela and Vanessa talk about the campaign, get some background information and see lots of Pastry Shoes in the video as well.

What I find interesting is that you also see Pastry Handbags and other apparel plus lots of cake obviously, hehe. Maybe you recognize those pictures that they took in the last part of the video because those were used in lots of promotions on websites, tv and even magazines.

Pastry Shoes Commercials

The two commercials for Pastry Shoes that are currently airing are available on Youtube and I thought it would be nice to include the videos here on my website as well to make it easier for you in case you have missed the Pastry commercials yet.

Both feature Angela and Vanessa of course and I think they are really nice and funny in those commercials. The setting of the first commercial is on a basketball court where Angela and Vanessa argue about the best shoe of their collection to play the sport.

The second commercial for Pastry Shoes is set in an office where both Angela and Vanessa argue – again – in a friendly manner. Lots of Pastry Shoe close ups, definitely worth and enjoyable to watch.

Vanessa and Angela announce Pastry apparel line

If you have seen Run’s house lately you probably know already that Vanessa and Angela Simmons are currently hard at work creating a Pastry Apparel line. The first Pasty apparel collection will hit stores such as DrJaxy, Against all Odds and Mony on January 25th.

The Pastry Apparel line will feature spandex and satin dresses, stretch charmeuse tops, embroidered denim jeans, French terry hoodies, pants and metallic mesh in the same candy and pastry colors. Expect colorful messenger bags,bowler bags, hobos and duffels as well which will match perfectly with your kicks

“Everything that my sister and I do, we do it because we have fun,” Vanessa said. “We had always planned on expanding into a full lifestyle brand, and now was just the perfect time to get into apparel and handbags.”The apparel collection includes a range of styles such as satin and spandex dresses, embroidered denim jeans, stretch charmeuse tops, French terry hoodies and pants and metallic mesh T-shirts. The line comes in a range of candy colors, such as bright pink, purple, blue and yellow.

“As we move into fall, we want to introduce some more sophisticated and edgy pieces like leather jackets and things like that,” Angela said.

The Pastry apparel line wholesales from $14 to $49, and the handbags wholesale from $13 to $45. Company executives expect first-year sales volume to reach $25 million in wholesale volume.
