Vanessa Simmons’ New Organization?

People say you learn something new everyday, even if you learn the new thing from something old.  I just found a footage of a short interview with the Simmons Sisters back at the 2008 BET Awards.  What did I find there?  Check out this video, maybe you’ll find something.

See, Vanessa said she was starting a non-profit organization called TIN or “Tomorrow Is Now”, which encourages young people to get a higher education and promoting political awareness for youngsters so that young people will be able to make a stand and make a change.

Whoa.  That’s pretty dope!  I’ve always known that the Simmons sisters are intelligent young women, but this foray into charity has given me a newfound respect for them.  Vanessa is apparently branching out of her role in in the Girl Scouts to have  a positive influence on young people everywhere.

I don’t have much more info than that on TIN. Anyone out there have the 411?
