The day might be over, but the night is not. The girls glammed it up for their Pastry Box of Chocolates shoes launch after a grueling day of work.

The Simmons Sisters, Vanessa and Angela Simmons, gathered up at the Pastry Box of Chocolate Shoes launch Party just recently and they had so much fun. We’ve been talking about the shoes for quite some time now and today, we finally get to see what flavors are we getting. But first thing’s first: here are some snaps from the party.

We know you’ve been missing Vanessa Simmons for quite some time, because we miss her loads as well. Seems like homegirl’s been keeping things under wraps, unlike her sister Angela, who’s lately been in the spotlight. Well, the Simmons Sisters were spotted last weekend at the 8th Annual Duffys Hope Celebrity Softball game and we’re glad they look gorgeous as usual.

According to their site, Duffy’s Hope, Inc. is an organization that provides intellectual, emotional and interpersonal growth opportunities for youths and families through advocacy, education, mentoring and community outreach. They envision a world where youth take control of their lives by empowering themselves with positive thoughts and goals, good choices and a perpetual desire to make the world a better place for everyone.
Those things sound like what the Simmons Sisters have been doing to the youth. Bravo to them!
Pastry Shoes co-owner and reality TV star, Vanessa Simmons, celebrated her birthday on August 5th. This year, Vanessa turned 27, and although we don’t get to see her in the public nowadays, we know she’s doing great. Vanessa also shares the same star sign as her cousin, Jessica Brown, who you might be familiar with from their hit MTV show: Daddy’s Girls. Jessica’s birthday is on August 6th and they’ve been sending each other shout-outs over Twitter.
Word is Vanessa’s still planning her birthday bash along with sister Angela Simmons and friends, and the party is probably going to happen in Vegas. We’ll see about that. But meanwhile, again, let’s wish Vanessa Simmons a very happy birthday and may all the best things happen to her!

Hip hop royalties seeking new talents… that’s what we like to call the New Voices Tour. Two hip hop families send their offspring to search for the freshest voices in the music industry. Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons and his brother, hip hop mogul Russell Simmons, along with producer Antonio “LA Reid”, teamed up and send their kids to select the next big thing in music. Pastry Shoes owners, Vanessa and Angela Simmons, along with Antonio Reid Jr and Aaron Reid are still on tour and after tackling Washington DC, they’re now on their way to Orlando, Dallas and San Diego.
So what’s New Voices Tour anyway? Like we previously mentioned, it’s a competition to find the next big star in music. Winners from each city will perform at the New York finale by Antonio “LA” Reid and “Rev Run”. Aside from that, the winner will get:

Okay okay we get it, you miss Vanessa Simmons. We do too! But Pastry Shoes co-owner and Daddy’s Girls star is keeping it low profile. Maybe she’s cozying it up with boyfriend Mike Wayans, and busy running things at Pastry headquarters, we don’t know. But what we know is… Vanessa is excited about the new Pastry Box of Chocolates collection and tweeted the newest kicks. Here they are:
