Hello global grind fam, long time no talk. i’m jus checkin in and filling you in on some insightful stuff i’ve recently learn. And to be honest it takes alot of courage to do this type of thing in life, but i recently learned that at the end of the day no one in this whole world will love yourself better then you can. And no one can make you as happy as you can make yourself. Sometimes in life as humans we tend to hold on to certain people, things or relationships because its what we are use to , but ive realized that you have to put your happiness before anyones , as selfish as that sounds it true. If you live your life trying to please everyone when will you ever be happy ? So my new lesson in life is to put yourself first. let go of toxic people and things today. Sometimes putting yourself first can be hard when your such a nice person, but at the end of the day no one in this world will give you the happiness you can give yourself. So love yourself. do what makes you happy. im not preaching or anything but i just wanted to share this with you guys. It took alot for me to finally realize this. Happiness is EVERYTHING. Sometimes letting go of the thing you think you need , will open many doors and free you of stress. Ok enough of that. Happy memorial to everyone.:)

You know, the thing I love most about the Simmons sisters is that they stay so grounded even with the great things going on for them.  They have everything: a solid and loving family, a cool Pastry Shoes business, reality TV series “Daddy’s Girls”, youthful beauty and great fashion taste.  They might have secret boyfriends (I don’t know about Vanessa, but Angela has one living in Texas).  But they stay so close to the ground and that produces wisdom way far from their years.  Seriously.

Angela talked about letting go of some stuff (or toxic people) to keep your happiness.  Have you done this?  Have you let go of some things or people that -as selfish as it may seem- finally made you happy?  We’re going deep today, Pastryheads, do share about this, give your piece of mind (and experience) and don’t be afraid to be philosophical.  Afterall, life is not always sugary sweet.  But as Pastry girls, we all know where to turn when we need some things to cheer us up, right?  Pastry shoes, of course!
