Watch out Kanye, Rihanna and the hip hop community, because there’s a surge of fresh hip hop superstars in the making coming your way. One of the Simmons kids, Angela and Vanessa Simmons’ brother: Diggy Simmons has been taking over the airwaves and online music world with his rapping skills. There’s also Justin Bieber who has been the new heartthrob for women of all ages… and now it’s time for the girls to show some teeth.
By today, we’re sure you’ve heard of Willow Smith, who’s the daughter of actor/rapper Will Smith and actress Jada Pinkett-Smith. Her brother, Jayden Smith is also an actor, but Willow chose to be a singer and from what we’ve seen… she’s GREAT!
And guess what… Diggy Simmons hinted that he might have something up his sleeve in terms of collaboration with Willow Smith in the future. Â Diggy said:
“I am happy to be a part of this. I think that this is the most beautiful thing. Justin Beiber being my homey for a year and a half now. To watch him blow up and his progression is great. I’ve just met Jaden Smith a few weeks ago. He is a real cool kid, very talented. And Willow, you might see something from us coming out. It’s great man. My homey Lil’ Twist is doing his thing. There are some young artists on the come up at Def Jam doing their thing. And it’s not like we’re all good enough for our age. I feel that all of us that are making a name for ourselves are as good as anybody; we can hold our own.”

We knew Diggy Simmons would be a huge success from the first time we laid eyes on him at Run’s House. Â The brother of Pastry Shoes owners, Angela and Vanessa Simmons, has been making it on his own… proving to the world that his success isn’t given. It’s earned with hard work. Â Diggy released mixtape after mixtape, landed a recording deal, endorsing a shoe line called Chivalrous Culture, and now… he’s the star of the new AT&T commercial.
The story is simple, sometimes a star as successful as Diggy is not sure about what he’s doing. Â So while he’s thinking about it, there’s a bunch of fans downloading his song to their cell phones. Moral of the story: you might not see your success, but the world knows.

Another high-flyer emerged from the Simmons family, only this time it’s a boy, Pastryheads. Your favorite up-and-coming emcee, Diggy Simmons, little stepbrother of Pastry Shoes owners Vanessa and Angela Simmons, is voted one of the top-five vote-getters in MTV’s “Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2010”.
Diggy Simmons has been taking 2010 by storm, starting with the launch of his debut mixtape, First Flight, earning a deal with Atlantic Records and working on his own shoe line “Chivalrous Culture”. The accomplished young man is entering adulthood in a unique, yet super memorable manner, reminding his fans that with hard work, anything is possible.
Although his life is mostly televised via the hit MTV Show: “Run’s House”, which shows that he was born in a well-off family, Diggy was taught to work towards his goals rather than having everything given to him. There was a lot of people who doubted his rap skills when he first started, but they were blown away when the results are out.

So, lately it’s always the gossips surrounding the Simmons Sisters that ended up in our website. Well, one of the sisters, actually. We think it’s the best time to take a look at what actually the Simmons Sisters are up to… work-wise.
Vanessa and Angela Simmons are actually working on a new dance shoe! No names have been revealed yet, but we heard these kicks keep you Fun, Fit and Fly at the same time. Here’s a sneak peek video from the photoshoot of the upcoming kicks, taken at the Broadway Dance Center. Vanessa and Angela were there rockin the kicks, accompanied by the dancers.

Hip hop mogul Russell Simmons joined the NOH8 Campaign recently and he brought the Simmons ladies with him into the photoshoot for the campaign, including his ex-wife, Kimora Lee Simmons and beautiful nieces: Angela and Vanessa Simmons. Before we get into the pics, here’s a bit about the cause:
The NOH8 Campaign is a photographic silent protest created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley in response to the passage of Proposition 8 which amends the state Constitution to ban same-sex marriage. The campaign’s photos feature people with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices beingsilenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world, with “NOH8” painted on one cheek in protest. Over 2,000 faces has been photographed including those of celebrities and people from all walks of life.
The Simmons sisters’ photos are yet to be uploaded to the site, but their aunt Kimora Lee Simmons’ photo is on the NOH8 website and it looks fabulous!

Â Vanessa and Angela Simmons have a thriving footwear company: Pastry Shoes, JoJo Simmons is working it with Uncle Rush over at GlobalGrind, and this time Diggy Simmons makes his mark yet again in the hip hop world. Â After releasing Flow Stoopid in March, Diggy just dropped the newest track “What They Been Waitin’ For”, taken from his upcoming mixtape, Airborn. This is a follow up mixtape to his previous “First Flight”. The internet is now buzzing with the video, which is directed by Phil the God.
